Here is a soft baby pink and light brown eyeshadow look created using the NYX Adorable Eyeshadow palette that recently came out. It’s almost like an everyday eye look except it’s a bit pinker on the upper lid and a little sparkly along the lower lash line. I think “Adorable” is a perfect name for this collection of colors.
Today, I felt like doing something with pink and purple since spring is almost here. This look is more involved than most of the looks I usually do so I tried to break it up into three main parts to make it easier to follow. I used a variety of products but you can recreate this with any similar colors you might have on hand. You need a set of neutral eyeshadows, a bright pink eyeshadow, purple and silver eyeliners, and a black liquid liner to recreate this look.
This is a very soft, neutral smokey eye with a medium-thick liner and double-tipped wing. It’s not too dramatic but’s it’s a little dressier than your standard “everyday eye makeup” kind of look. I used Maybelline Taupe Tease Plush Silk Eyeshadow quad and the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette to create this look. I really like these colors and could see myself reaching for this palette often.
Here’s a smokey purple eyeshadow look created with Maybelline’s Take It Off Plush Silk Eyeshadow. The second shade in the from the left of this quad looks very eye-catching in the pan but didn’t seem as vibrant on the eye so I added some more color with a Revlon Photoready Kajal on my lower waterline.
This is a really quick and easy look that doesn’t require a lot of brushes to create. I used the lightest of the four quads Maybelline released for spring 2014, an ultra fine eyeliner, and a natural looking lash. The eyeshadows blended really easily which also helped cut down the time it took to create it. The only thing is that these shadows don’t last all day on me without a primer but they still look just as nice without one.
