Cranberry & Mixed Metals Eyeshadow Look

Cranberry & Mixed Metals Eyeshadow Look

This is a little bit of a random look that uses an odd combination of products. I was trying out a few different items that I purchased recently and wasn’t really intending to do a look but I liked how it came out so I took some pics. You can totally use whatever you have in your own collection to recreate this. The colors are warm brown (crease), cranberry (outer lid), dark silver (inner lid), copper (lower lash line), and white gold (inner corner). As long as you can find these types of shades in your own collection, you’re good to go!

Basic Matte Smokey Eye | Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette

Basic Matte Smoky Eye with the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette

I don’t typically think of doing a matte look with Urban Decay unless its with one of their Naked Basics palettes, but you can actually use their new Naked Smoky palette for this type of look. I love that they included a good set of basic matte colors because it really makes the palette much more versatile. This look is darker than an everyday eye but it’s less dramatic by opting for a thinner eyeliner, leaving the lower lash line light, and using the black eyeshadow sparingly but strategically.

Lorac Pro Palette 2 Eyeshadow Look

Rose Gold and Chocolate Look with the Lorac Pro Palette 2

This is a look I wore a few times last month, including Valentines day. I love the combo of warm coppery-pink against the rich cocoa brown. To keep most of the attention on the eyes, I kept my cheeks and lips understated but still polished. To see how to recreate this look, read on.

Here’s a green look that follows a similar technique as I did with my soft purple eyeshadow look. I kept the brightest shade on the center part of my lid and used the darkest shade on the inner and outer corners. I also used a smudged shadow liner instead of liquid liner just to change it up a bit.

Here’ a lilac/orchid eyeshadow look using Maybelline Plum Passion Plush Silk Eyeshadow. When I first saw the trio of quads in the Deep Velvets collection this one didn’t really catch my eye right away but when I looked at it more closely, I started to really love it.

EOTD – NYX Adorable Eyeshadow Palette

Here is a soft baby pink and light brown eyeshadow look created using the NYX Adorable Eyeshadow palette that recently came out. It’s almost like an everyday eye look except it’s a bit pinker on the upper lid and a little sparkly along the lower lash line. I think “Adorable” is a perfect name for this collection of colors.

EOTD - Pink and Purple Eyeshadow Look

EOTD – Pink & Purple Eyeshadow Look

Today, I felt like doing something with pink and purple since spring is almost here. This look is more involved than most of the looks I usually do so I tried to break it up into three main parts to make it easier to follow. I used a variety of products but you can recreate this with any similar colors you might have on hand. You need a set of neutral eyeshadows, a bright pink eyeshadow, purple and silver eyeliners, and a black liquid liner to recreate this look.

EOTD - Easy to Wear Green Eyeshadow Look

EOTD – Easy to Wear Green Eyeshadow Look

In the spirit of celebrating St. Patricks day, I created a simple, easy to wear look that anyone can recreate. I used the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette and the Pop Beauty Bright Up Your Life palette. In essence, you only need a few neutrals, a grass green, and a pale gold to do this look.

EOTD – Maybelline Spring 2014 Color Tattoo Eyeshadow Look #2

Here’s a look with the other 3 shades of the Maybelline Color Tattoos that are out for Spring 2014: Pure Nude, Nude Compliment, and Stroke of Midnight. I’m not very happy with the way this look came out – you can read my thoughts at the bottom of the post.
