This is a really quick and easy look that doesn’t require a lot of brushes to create. I used the lightest of the four quads Maybelline released for spring 2014, an ultra fine eyeliner, and a natural looking lash. The eyeshadows blended really easily which also helped cut down the time it took to create it. The only thing is that these shadows don’t last all day on me without a primer but they still look just as nice without one.
I went out looking for the new neutral Color Tattoo eyeshadows that are out for spring and I found these beauties at Rite Aid! They are limited edition so if you want them, don’t wait too long to pick them up. I cannot wait to try them all! I’m excited to see that Maybelline has released six new neutral shades of their Color Tattoo Eyeshadows for Spring 2014. Here’s a look using the 3 warmer shades in the collection: Sleek & Spice, Beige-ing Beauty, and Caramel Cool.
Mauvelous is part of the blush collection Revlon released late 2013. It is a sheer, mostly-matte mauve with a subtle skin-like sheen when buffed with a brush. Revlon Powder Blushes cost around $10 and contain 5g / 0.17 oz. of product. They are available more widely now at drugstores, Ulta, and Target.
L’Oreal Colour Riche Extraordinaire is a new lip gloss with 16 shades that offers rich, glossy color and smooths the surface of lips. From the ads I’ve seen, these seemed like they might be some sort of liquid lipstick but to me they feel mostly like a gloss. They have a moisturizing, non-sticky feel and offer vibrant but sheer to semi-opaque color. Dancing Rose is a purplish pink with lots of fine multi-colored sparkles and Rouge Allegro is a bright pinkish red with no sparkles or shimmer.
This look is very simple, only using a few eyeshadow shades and a very thin winged liner. I used the Urban Decay Naked 3 and Naked Basics Palettes for this look.
