Glossybox February 2016

Glossybox February 2016

My next Glossybox has shipped and I’m just now getting this post out!!! Ugh. This box as a whole didn’t really pique my interest that much and a couple of the items seem like they might be difficult to track down or purchase, at least if you are in the United States. I was excited to try the mask, though, and it didn’t disappoint.

January 2016 Beauty Favorites

Favorites: January 2016

These are my first favorites of 2016. I have a whopping 11 products to talk about. That’s a lot for me as the number usually hovers right around 5 for only one month.

EOTD - Tarte Tartelette in Bloom Eyeshadow Look

EOTD – Tarte Tartelette in Bloom Eyeshadow Look

Phew! I feel like this was a TON of steps and I used 9 out of the 12 eyeshadows in this palette but I think the blending came out really smooth. It’s really not necessary to go that far to get a similar look but I felt like experimenting a little.

Glossybox January 2016

Glossybox is good about introducing me to brands I’m not very familiar with. I knew about Royal Apothic and Emite Makeup but none of the others. All the items in this box are useful – a clarifying hair treatment, foot and body creams, a lip color, and a foundation primer.

Hourglass Diffused Light Ambient Lighting Powder Review

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders are meant to mimic different lighting sources and affect the way light falls on the skin, giving it a softer, more flattering look. Hourglass describes Diffused Light as “a soft, warm, pale yellow powder that conceals redness and gives skin clarity—like a soft ray of morning light.” It is formulated without parabens, talc, fragrance, nanoparticles, and gluten.

Whim Fall 2015 Nail Lacquers - Crackling Embers, Fallen Sunset, and Tall, Dark & Rich

Whim Fall 2015 Nail Lacquer Review & Swatches

Whim Nail Lacquer is part of a 3 step system that is supposed to deliver the durability of a gel manicure with but the ability to remove it easily with nail polish remover. I have only the color portion of the system and not the base or top coats so my review is only for the nail color itself.
