Sephora Collection Brightening Dual Facial Enzyme Exfoliator is supposed to remove dead skin through both chemical and physical exfoliation. The chemical exfoliation is provided by enzymes from the fermentation of pomegranate fruit and the physical component is bamboo stem powder. It has a good amount of somewhat larger scrubby particles in a base that feels like a gel cleanser and is geared more towards oily skin types.
Sephora Collection Colorful Powder Luminizers are a range of 6 new highlighters. They have a gel-powder formula that helps them to meld with the skin without looking dry and they give off a soft, buildable glow without glitter or large sparkles. These are $14 each, contain 0.12 oz / 3.5 grams of product, and can be purchased from Sephora and Kohl’s.
The Natasha Denona My Mini Dream Glow Blush is a mini cheek trio based on the larger cheek palette from the earlier My Dream Collection release. It contains 2 matte blushes and 1 highlighter all pressed artfully into a single pan. The color of the deeper matte blush is the same as the one from the larger palette in the collection.
The Natasha Denona My Mini Dream Palette is probably the closest thing to a truly neutral palette I have from the brand. The shade selection stays mainly beige and brown and only leans very slightly warm-toned. There are 3 powder mattes and 2 shimmers with all small particles that offer a soft but still satisfying sheen. It includes one shade from the larger My Dream Eyeshadow Palette (Nurture) and 4 new shades.
Loreal True Match Radiant Serum Concealer is a high-medium coverage concealer with a thinner more fluid consistency and natural-matte finish. It is supposed to also have skincare properties with hyaluronic acid for hydration and caffeine to help depuff the under eye area.
Elf Camo Hydrating CC Cream is a medium coverage foundation with a dewy finish that provides SPF 30 sun protection with a combination of chemical and physical sunscreen ingredients. It has an emollient texture contributing to that dewy finish but I do not see any kind of fine shimmer in the product up close. There are 30 shades to choose from with warm, cool and neutral undertone options. For $15, you get 1 fl oz / 30 grams of product in a squeeze tube with a pump.
Loreal Voluminous Panorama Mascara is supposed to have a volumizing formula and an applicator that helps apply the product evenly to all of your lashes from inner corner to outer corner so that you end up with a more “voluminous” fanned out fringe without clumps, flakes or smudges. It comes in 3 shades (Black, Blackest Black, and Black Brown) and also in waterproof and washable versions. It looks like the waterproof one is only available in Black. Depending where you buy it, you can find it for around $13-$16. As of the time of this review, it is available to purchase from Ulta, Walmart, Amazon, and CVS.
JVN Complete Air Dry Cream is a lightweight “my hair but better” styling product with a consistency similar to a gel-cream. It is supposed to be compatible with any hair type and is meant to be an effortless way to enhance the natural texture of your hair. Think of it like a tinted moisturizer, a lip balm, or a brow gel — not very involved or difficult but adds an improvement that just feels better.
NYX Pro Fix Sticks are high-medium coverage creamy concealers that come in 18 skin tone shades and 6 color correcting shades. These slim twist-up sticks are small and contain 0.05 oz / 1.6 grams of product and go for $9 each. Both the concealers and correctors feel like the same formula but just differ in color.
