Rockateur is one of Benefit’s newer Box o’ Powders. It is described as a rose gold shade that will give you a “provocative flush” and is supposed to have a “specialized formula” that will deliver 1.6 times the color payoff.
Almay Shadow Softies Review and Swatchfest
Here is a general overview and swatches of all 12 shades of the Almay Shadow Softies. Overall, these are fairly sheer but they apply evenly and are easy to blend out. The shimmer shades look great on their own and all the shades work well as eyeshadow bases.
NYX Adorable Eyeshadow Palette Review and Swatches
NYX Adorable Eyeshadow Palette is an inexpensive, mostly-neutral eyeshadow palette containing six eyeshadows. 4 of them are matte and 2 have glitter. What makes this one different than other neutral palettes is the inclusion of a baby pink eyeshadow. In general the shadows are sheer but do have plenty of color payoff when used with a primer.
NYX Fireball Butter Lipstick Review and Swatch
Fireball is a very vibrant coral that can almost look red if applied heavily. It has a very soft balm-like sheen and has no glitter or shimmer in it. NYX Butter Lipstick comes in 22 shades and is supposed to offer intense color payoff while feeling lightweight and comfortable. These cost about $6.00 for 0.16 oz. / 4.5 g and can be found at Ulta and nyxcosmetics.com.
NYX Angel Veil Skin Perfecting Primer Review
NYX Angel Veil Skin Perfecting Primer is a lightweight, oil-free primer that mattifies, smoothes skin texture, and extends the wear of foundation. It can be worn alone to give a smoother look to the skin or as a primer to make foundation last longer. It costs about $16 for 1.02 fl. oz. / 30 mL and can be found on NYX website. I found mine at Fred Meyer and I expect other stores that carry NYX will probably be getting it shortly.
Revlon Powder Blush Review Roundup and Swatchfest
Here is a general overview and swatches of all 9 shades of the Revlon Powder Blushes. There are 8 blushes and one bronzing shade. Most of the shades have good color payoff, the satin/shimmer shades have the best color payoff and the matte shades have more sheer color payoff.
J.R. Watkins Lemon Cream Hand Cream Review
J.R. Watkins Lemon Cream Hand Cream non-greasy lemon-cake scented hand cream made with 98.9% natural ingredients. It is free of parabens, dyes, phthalates, and propylene glycol.
Revlon Bronzilla Powder Blush Review and Swatch
Bronzilla is part of the blush collection Revlon released late 2013. It is a sheer, mostly-matte medium brown with a subtle skin-like sheen when buffed with a brush. Revlon Powder Blushes cost around $10 and contain 5g / 0.17 oz. of product. They are available more widely now at drugstores, Ulta, and Target.
