Glossybox March 2016
This month’s box had a nice mix of products and I know I will use every single thing they sent. I’m especially happy about the two color cosmetic items which are both good quality and things I’d use regularly.

My next Glossybox has shipped and I’m just now getting this post out!!! Ugh. This box as a whole didn’t really pique my interest that much and a couple of the items seem like they might be difficult to track down or purchase, at least if you are in the United States. I was excited to try the mask, though, and it didn’t disappoint.
Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lip Color is supposed to offer high impact matte color in a comfortable-to-wear formula. The packaging is very similar to a lip gloss with a slanted doe foot applicator.
Too Faced Love Flush Blush Wardrobe is a limited edition palette that contains all six of the permanent range blushes from the Love Flush blush line. They are supposed to have a long wearing formula that will deliver 16 hours of wear.
Glossybox is good about introducing me to brands I’m not very familiar with. I knew about Royal Apothic and Emite Makeup but none of the others. All the items in this box are useful – a clarifying hair treatment, foot and body creams, a lip color, and a foundation primer.
Cover FX Custom Cover Drops is a new type of base makeup that is supposed to offer the ability to customize your coverage/color/finish to your heart’s content.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders are meant to mimic different lighting sources and affect the way light falls on the skin, giving it a softer, more flattering look. Hourglass describes Diffused Light as “a soft, warm, pale yellow powder that conceals redness and gives skin clarity—like a soft ray of morning light.” It is formulated without parabens, talc, fragrance, nanoparticles, and gluten.
Whim Nail Lacquer is part of a 3 step system that is supposed to deliver the durability of a gel manicure with but the ability to remove it easily with nail polish remover. I have only the color portion of the system and not the base or top coats so my review is only for the nail color itself.
It’s been a while since I’ve done a Glossybox post. The last few boxes haven’t been all that exciting but this one is looking more intriguing. Three color cosmetic items! Let’s take a closer look at what’s in this month’s box.
