I’ve been testing this for quite a while because I couldn’t decide whether I liked it or not. I think I was in denial about the quality not being quite up to snuff because after all it is a handy palette full of neutral matte eyeshadows – and I LOVE that concept. But I feel like I HAVE to use a primer if I want it to look good and I have to blend very carefully because they can have a tendency to look patchy on they eyelid. And yet, I still reach for it because I like the colors and it’s convent having them all together in one palette! Argh, I still have such an internal conflict but I want to get this review out, so here it is.
Haute Pink is part of the blush collection Revlon released late 2013. It is a satin medium-bright neutral pink, similar to Mac Pink Swoon, except it has more of a very soft diffused shine to it. It doesn’t have any sparkle or frost to it at all though. Revlon Powder Blushes cost around $10 and contain 5g / 0.17 oz. of product. They are available more widely now at drugstores, Ulta, and Target.
Racy Rose is part of the blush collection Revlon released late 2013. It is one of those perfect middle of the road shades that almost anyone can wear – a perfect pinkish coral shade that is neither too warm nor too cool. Revlon Powder Blushes cost around $10 and contain 5g / 0.17 oz. of product. They are available more widely now at drugstores, Ulta, and Target.
I spent all day trying to focus and work on some posts but this is what has been pulling me away from it. While Portland does get the occasional snow day, it’s pretty rare and almost never sticks for very long. I used to live in Southern California and only moved here a few years ago but according to the locals it hasn’t snowed this much in at least 8 years. I kept going outside every hour or so because the snow just kept building up and I couldn’t believe it. I finally came inside after spending the last hour outside and I am now freezing, my face is numb, and it’s hard to type LOL.
Revlon released 9 new shades of their Powder Blushes late 2013. I picked up Naughty Nude first and liked it so I purchased the other shades. The overall color range isn’t huge but has a good variety for different looks. They cost around $10 and contain 5g / 0.17 oz. of product. They are available more widely now at drugstores, Ulta, and Target.
