Coach Poppy Blossom Review

Coach Poppy Blossom

Coach Poppy Blossom is a limited edition fruity floral fragrance. It is a bright, sweet, and sunny scent that lifts the mood. In the beginning notes of strawberry, freesia and mandarin burst out like a ray of sunshine. Its sunny quality reminds me of summer but I would wear this any time of the year. The fragrance is a bit sharp at first and may come on very strong for those sensitive to perfumes. After it dries down and settles into the skin, notes of rose, jasmine, and vanilla soften and round it out, toning down the initial sharpness. Toward the end, the fruit and floral notes fade considerably opening up center stage to notes of vanilla, praline, and blonde woods. I very much enjoy the entire journey from bright sweetness to luminous warmth and finally to the soft vanilla ending. One spritz lasts about 4 hours while two spritzes on the same spot will last about 6 hours. It does not have the best longevity but I find that using a perfume a few hours after showering and not applying it directly on top of a moisturizer does help it stick around longer.

The bottle’s cute shape is similar to the original Poppy fragrance but has a tangerine colored faux flower fastened to the cap by an elastic band. It can be removed and used as a ring. The metallic gold lid is beautifully engraved with the brand and fragrance name.

My bottle contains 1.7 oz / 50 ml and cost $65. It can be purchased at Sephora, Ulta, and most department stores.
