The ColourPop Sage The Day Palette, $14 at Ulta and ColourPop, contains 9 nature-inspired shades of green and brown. There are 4 true mattes, 4 shimmers, and 1 matte with sparkle. None of them are pressed pigments or glitters. The palette and pans are the same size as most of ColourPop’s previous 9-pans, like their monochromatic series.
Milani Stay Put Liquid Brow Wax is a product for shaping and holding brow hairs in place. It is a colorless wax and does not come in tinted versions but can be combined with other brow products (powders, brow pens, etc.) to add color. It similar in concept to a clear brow gel but feels different to the touch (not crunchy), and has more hold but remains flexible all day.
I picked up the new Milani Highly Rated Lash Extensions Tubing Mascara along with the other new products they came out with recently. Tubing mascaras are supposed to wash off with water in clumps instead of breaking down by liquifying. I’ve only seen this available in black and there is no waterproof version.
I have been on the hunt for a new sunscreen for a while. In my searches, this Australian Gold Botanical Tinted Face Sunscreen caught my eye more than once. It is a mineral sunscreen that comes in 3 shades that are sheer enough to span a wide variety of skin tones and is supposed to have a matte finish.
Milani has come out with 5 new mini eyeshadow palettes. These are their Gilded Mini Eyeshadow Palettes and they come in 5 warm and neutral shade variations. They go for around $10 each and contain six shades.
Milani Conceal + Perfect Blur Out Powder is an airy, mattifying, loose powder that helps to diffuse the look of skin texture and control oil. There are 5g of product in the container and it retails for around $13.
I picked up the ABH Rose Metals Palette after giving it a good long eyeing. It is probably already long past the optimal time to post swatches but I am just getting around to it now.
These are all of the looks I’ve done using the ColourPop Not A Box of Chocolates Palette. Most of them are done using only this palette but for a couple of them, I used it as a pairing palette to vary up the mattes.
