This was a look I did based on a rare moment of inspiration. Typically when I do manage to find inspiration, it’s usually from nature. This time it was after a walk early in the morning near a river. The time of day and weather were perfect conditions for the sunlight to bounce off the ripples in the water in a way that reminded me of the Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb Highlighter because it has a similar effect when seen in moving light. The water had more of a murky grey-green tone to it that contrasted nicely with the sparkle. The shades in the Elf quads I ended up using don’t exactly mimc that but they are similar enough, easily accessible, and for being dark shades, they are both highly pigmented and blend well.
