Packaging: The palette is made of plastic, has a large mirror included inside the lid. It snaps shut (not magnetic) and opens/closes easily. The names are printed next to each shade and also on the back of the palette. The product came packaged inside a cardboard box with a similar look and similar information printed on it.
Smell/Fragrance: No fragrance. Has a very faint powdery/mineral smell if I actively look for a scent. Not noticeable with normal use.

ColourPop Mint To Be is a palette with 9 shades of light and medium greens. There are five matte shades and four with a shimmer/metallic finish. These shades are all quite light, so the looks you get with this one palette by itself will end up looking lighter/brighter overall. If you prefer to add more depth, you may want to pair it with other palettes or singles to create a wider variety of looks.
In general, the quality of the palette was good. The colors were buildable, easy to blend, adhered well to the lid. There was only one shade that stood out as being not as good as the rest and that was Seltzer. It had a stiffer texture and was less pigmented than the other mattes in the palette. It swatched terribly, requiring a lot of effort to build it up enough to take a photo of the swatch. That being said, it worked much better in practice when I used a brush to apply it to the lids. It still required more work to build up than the other mattes, but wasn’t bad enough that I would consider it a total dud.
Looking for overlap in shades, I initially thought Play It Cool and Mojito Mami were too similar to be together in this palette. With use, though, I have noticed that Play It Cool has a more metallic finish with some glitter while Mojito Mami is more of a satiny-shimmer finish. Play It Cool is also a subtle duochrome, shifting between mint green and silvery beige. The difference in finish is enough for me that I don’t find the similarity of the shades to be a problem.
I am happy with the variety of matte shades. There is enough variation in hue to do more than one type of look with it. I see undertones of blue, green, yellow, and grey with the four mid-tone matte shades provided. Chill Factor is probably my favorite shade in the palette, being muted enough to almost use as a neutral. Freshman is another shade that I think would be wearable in an environment that favors natural/neutral makeup.
The wear time for me was about 7 hours with a good primer. My eyelids are oily and have been more oily recently (probably due to my moisturizer). I tried using both Urban Decay Primer Potion and Nars Pro Prime Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base. Urban Decay is slightly longer lasting than Nars, but not by much.
Overall, I think this is a worthwhile palette to add to your collection if these are colors that appeal to you.
Shades
Get Fresh
Get Fresh is a pastel mint with a matte finish. It adhered nicely to the lid and was easy to build up and blend out. I was impressed with the color payoff for being such a light shade. There was some fallout when I applied this with a flat shading brush but I didn’t notice any when using a fluffy brush. The fallout was easily brushed away.
Mintea
Mintea is a vibrant mint with a metallic finish and some larger flecks of sparkle/glitter. It adhered easily to the eye when applying with a brush and was buildable to nearly opaque coverage. I experienced a little bit of fallout from some of the larger sparkles.
Play It Cool
Play It Cool is an icy mint green with a duochrome shift. It has a metallic finish with some larger sparkles. I don’t really notice the duochrome effect on the eye as much as I do in the pan or a heavy swatch. In the pan it looks more green in direct light, while it shifts to a silvery beige in indirect light. I had a little bit of fallout from some of the larger sparkles. It adhered easily to the eye when applying with a brush but went on a bit more sheer than the other shimmers, initially. However, I was able to build it up to be almost opaque with a bit more effort. This shade has the most shimmer/sparkle fallout.
Seltzer
Seltzer is described as a soft aqua with silver pinpoints. This shade reminds of “Tiffany Blue”, being the most blue-toned shade in the palette. This has a matte finish for all intents and purposes. There are some very small sparkle particles in the formula but on the eyelid they are hardly visible unless you are looking in a magnifying mirror or a macro photo. They are also so small that they hold together well with the matte portion of the formula, resulting in little to no fallout. It had a stiffer texture and required more building up than the other mattes in the palette. This shade applied slightly patchy and skipped over the natural texture of my eyelid. It required some extra building and blending to get it to look evenly applied. The patchiness isn’t super visible against my skin tone unless I’m looking up close and really scrutinizing it. This was still a usable shade but was the worst performing one in the palette.
Mojito Mami
Mojito Mami is described as being a true mint. It has a soft satiny-shimmer finish and no glitter particles that I could tell. There was minor shimmer fallout during application but it was easily brushed away. It was semi sheer but could be built up to nearly full opacity if swiped on with a finger.
De Menthe
De Menthe is a soft dusty mint with more of a yellow undertone than the other shades in the palette. This shade was more prone to be dusted away easily if blended too aggressively. It blends incredibly easily. A shader brush with a bit of thickness to it would be more than enough to blend this out. It was semi-sheer but was buildable to nearly full opacity.
Ice Cold
Ice Cold is an electric mint with a matte finish. This shade looks similar to Seltzer but has more of a green undertone. It was semi sheer and required several layers to reach full opacity. However, this shade is super vibrant, so even a little bit of it creates a punch. It dusts away easily if you use a heavy hand with blending. It blends easily, so apply it to the intensity you like then gently tap around the edges for a soft blend to avoid dusting away the color where you don’t want to.
Freshman
Freshman is a midtone mint with a blue undertone and a slight golden sheen. It has a standard shimmer finish with no glitter or larger sparkles that I can tell. It is a bit more light-reflective than “mojito mami”. It adhered easily to the lid and was buildable to nearly opaque coverage using a brush to apply. There was hardly any shimmer fallout.
Chill Factor
Chill factor is a muted midtone green with a matte finish. I really like this shade because it reminds me of the color of succulents and when I pair it with De Menthe, it amplifies the effect even more. It is semi opaque and needs to be built up for full opacity. It also dusts away easily with blending. Either go back and forth with blending and packing brushes or just tap/buff lightly on the edges with your packing brush to blend to avoid losing color where you don’t want to.

This look started creasing at about 4 and a half hours. I am not surprised given that I used Tarte Shape Tape as my eye primer. This is not usually the longest lasting thing on my oily eyelids but I love how nicely it evens out the color of my lids. I continued to wear this until the 7.5 hour mark and it was incredibly creased by then.

This look lasted the same as the look above. I started seeing slight creasing at 4.5 hours and by 7.5 hours, it was very obviously creased.
