Color/Finish: All color names and descriptions are listed below along with the photos. The majority of them are shimmery and some even have glitter in them as well.
Packaging: Small plastic pots with twist off lids. You can see the color through the bottom of the packaging. I haven’t had any issues with the pots “leaking” eyeshadow or breaking so far.
Smell: They don’t smell like anything – always a plus in my opinion.

Performance

Application: As is inherent of loose eyeshadows, these can be messy to work with. I like that with loose eyeshadows, you can typically deposit more color on the lid though so I can put up with it.
Pigmentation: Most of them have great pigmentation. There are a few that are just good but not great, like Innocent, Earthy, Flirty, and Girly. The pigmentation of those wouldn’t deter me from repurchasing them though, so all-in-all I don’t think you could go wrong with these.
Texture: The texture varies. The matte ones can “bunch” up a little bit more but can be worked with to smooth them out. Some of the shimmery ones have glitter, namely Angelic, Glamorous, Golden, Trendy, and Wild. The glitter is fairly fine and doesn’t give me a problem.
Longevity: These crease on me after about 4 hours without a base.

Overall Opinion

Pros:

• Inexpensive
• Big range of colors
• Good pigmentation

Cons:

• Messy to work with
• Not easy to store if you have a lot of them

Worth buying? Most of them are as long as you don’t mind working with loose eyeshadows. It can be really hard to choose colors based soley on the swatches available on e.l.f.’s website. There are a few I probably would skip because they just don’t show up on my lid as well as I’d like. These would be Innocent, Mysterious, Temptress, Enchanting, Earthy, and Girly. I can get them to work but it requires more effort than I’m willing to put in. Seductive isn’t bad but I’d rather use a pressed black eyeshadow to get the same effect. I think the best ones are the shimmery beiges, golds, browns, and silvers. Beachy, Dreamy, and Outdoorsy are nice too.

Sassy – medium golden beige shimmer

Enchanting – matte light brown

Caffeinated – darkened antique gold shimmer

Confident – neutral bronze shimmer

Trendy – peachy beige shimmer

Bronzed – golden bronze shimmer

Wild – dark brown with gold sparkles
